Rubina is 35 and has asthma. “I get wheezy if I do any exercise, so I don’t.” Her fear of becoming wheezy is resulting in her doing less and less. Her doctor discussed this with her and pointed out that being inactive is putting her at risk of other diseases.
The doctor advised her to try exercise again, but to use a puff inhaler before she starts. This is working well and keeping her asthma under control.
“I’ve started swimming again, and I’ve gone back to my dance classes which I love. It’s fine as long as I remember to use my inhaler. I’m getting out more, I’m happier and healthier.”
