Barry’s work means he sits at a desk all day. A few months ago he started to experience pain in his lower back. “It’s horrible, it makes it really hard for me to work.” His doctor gave him some physio therapy exercises to try at home and encouraged him to go for a lunchtime walk.
“It really works, I can’t believe it. I felt so much better about a 2 weeks ago I stopped doing them, didn’t think I needed them anymore, but the back pain started to come back. I have realised I need to do them every day for the rest of my life. It’s a very small price to pay for being pain free though. My boss is pleased too.”
